About Jean Macaluso
Browse my images of black & white and color, ceramic sculptures, and oil paintings and find that something new to excite your senses.
Pennsylvania born and bred: I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs in a town called Horsham. I studied Radiologic Technology at Abington Hospital and then moved to Pittsburgh to work at St. Francis Hospital. After marrying I moved to Lewisburg. Currently I live in Carlisle. I studied Art & Art History at Dickinson College as a non-traditional student. There I learned painting, sculpture, and photography but I have always have had a love for art in all forms.
I have always had a passion for photography since picking up my father's camera at the age of 12. From that point on I was designated the family photographer. I developed that interest into an enthusiasm for the black & white process both traditional, alternative, and now digital.
